Technology is advancing further with the use of drones. Drones need to be able to store data, be tracked by GPS, have on board sensors etc. During prototyping phase things need to be modular.
Some examples of drone usage include firefighting drones which can put out fires. Military often use drones for surveillance. The police also use drones for surveillance. Finally there is a recent project announced where Amazon Octocopter Drones would be used to deliver packages to customers through their Prime Air program.
