Saitech Inc has successfully contracted an order for Hamilton County, Chattanooga, TN. Originally the county was using an older comparable brand but preferred to give a new type of technology a chance. Saitech Inc. provided a cost effective option packaged in the Dell Latitude Rugged Laptops. These laptops will be used accordingly inside the Sheriff department’s fleet of patrol vehicles. Contract value was over at $258k. The laptops can withstand extreme levels of stress on its durable exterior. MIL-STD-810G approved tested by a third party to meet military standards. It can withstand 72” drop, blowing rain, blowing dust, blowing sand, vibration, functional shock, humidity, salt fog (optional with rubberized keyboard), altitude, explosive atmosphere, solar radiation, thermal extremes, thermal shock, freeze/thaw, tactical standby to operational. All points sealed by compression gaskets and a dual-knife-edge design certified for IP-65 protection from sand, dust, and liquid.
