Saitech Inc is also participating in the MOD sub group within SEMI. MOD has been instrumental in pushing for supplier diversity initiatives in the Semiconductor industry. Supplier diversity is a business strategy that drives the inclusion of diverse-owned businesses in the procurement of goods and services within an organization.
Three focus areas of the MOD (Manufacturing Ownership Diversity) working group include:
Awareness – Highlight benefits of having diverse ownership within the supply chain.
Ability – Enabling diversely owned companies to compete on equal footing and win competitive bids with prime suppliers and end users
Adoption –Advocate for diverse suppliers with the semiconductor industry based on their performance.
Supplier Diversity promotes competition that drives innovation and costs savings. It assists corporations and public organizations with supplier diversity programs to qualify for new opportunities. It also aligns with corporate social responsibility values, equality and inclusion goals.
