Saitech Inc. has executed a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure project utilizing Award Winning Dell Blade Servers, PowerEdge servers, and PowerVaults for El Dorado County and Sheriff’s department in California. Saitech Inc technical engineering team was extremely pro -active in the design and configurations stages for the equipment needed in the project. Saitech Inc was also able to offer cost savings of over 10% to the county’s taxpayer.
The PowerEdge servers provide higher virtualization density, massively higher memory capacity, double the number of flash drives per blade, than previous generations. With these increased capacity, scalability & flexibility these PowerEdge servers assist in a more cost effective long term solution. The PowerEdge and Blade servers are maximized by PowerVault DAS to utilize uptime and security across your network. Redundant Path with I/O Load Balancing, Self-Encrypting Drives (SED), and Hot Swappable Drives help with the mainstream applications with optimal performance in sequential (streaming) applications. With this upgrade project the County’s would be able to provide efficient, scalable , flexible and powerful computing tools to all its employees and thus enhancing overall productivity.
